Happy President’s Day from University Post-Acute Rehab in Sacramento to you!

Did you know President’s Day was originally established to celebrate Washington’s birthday? President’s Day wasn’t officially observed until the late 1870s as a federal holiday in DC, and it wasn’t until 1885 when it expanded to the entire country. There’s been a longstanding tradition in the United States Senate to read George Washington’s Farewell Address from 1796 to honor his legacy.

Today, we view President’s Day to celebrate all presidents, past and present.

Who’s your favorite president?
